Alienware M18X Laptop Computer

Item: Alienware M18X Laptop Computer  (image source)

My very first and only gaming laptop I've ever owned was an ASUS G73JH laptop. It played Modern Warfare on high settings quite nicely. I never had any real issues with it other than a few software glitches. I ended up selling it to piece together my current rig which is a desktop. Overall, I'm getting better performance now out of my pc but that can be expected when comparing desktops to laptops. However, those tides are rapidly shifting as gaming laptops are becoming more efficient and more powerful with each new model to come. I have no plans on selling my current setup but I would love get my hands on this - an Alienware M18X Laptop Computer. This beast isn't too mobile as it boasts a whooping 18.4 inch WLED WideFHD display with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080, but I'm sure anyone can manage taking this to a LAN party.. just dust off your old duffel bag and stuff it in there!

Itch reliever: DashHawk for sale

I stopped being lazy and finally got some pictures up of my DashHawk. It's for sale now and I'm not expecting it to last too long on the forums. Once sold, I am putting the money towards an AeroForce Scan gauge. If you have been keeping up on the posts, you will know that this had been mentioned before. Wish me good luck on the sale!

Sony HDR-CX190/B HD Camcorder

Item: Sony HDR-CX190/B HD Camcorder (image source)

I have a very nice Canon digital camera that takes great pictures. My iPhone 4s takes some pretty amazing pictures as well. It also has the ability to capture 1080p video. But as time goes on and my son grows older, I'd like to capture those father & son moments with something more suitable than a smart phone; maybe something along the lines of this - a Sony HDR-CX190 HD Camcorder. It's very compact and has a decent size LCD display. With this particular model, however, the LCD isn't a touch screen but you can always pay a little more for the next model up for one that does. I also like the fact that it uses memory cards to record on. Just make sure to use high quality cards that have a speed class of 6 or higher.

Itch reliever: Windows 8

I still remember the day when Windows 7 was released and all the hype that it created. I think Microsoft did a really good job with Windows 7. Now comes more hype as Windows 8 is just around the corner. Windows 8 Consumer Preview is available for download for those of you who want to get a sneak peak as what this new OS has to offer. I think for now, I'll pass. But once Windows 8 is officially released, I can't wait to hear about what everyone has to say about it.

Zaino Total Protection Show Car Kit

Item: Zaino Total Protection Show Car Kit (image source)

I'm sure there are a lot of car-care products out there that will bring out that new car shine again, but every other car forum I read up on has car buffs who live and die by Zaino products. Whether it's from your average Joe or from the life-long professional car detailer, Zaino products are highly recommended. I like a product that is very easy to use and doesn't entail a lot of step-by-step processes. This kit here totally fits the bill and won't burn a hole in your wallet. When it comes time to stock up on waxes and polishers again, Zaino will very likely be on the list of items to replenish with.

Itch reliever: Avengers official trailer

I went and watched The Avengers last night with some buddies and we didn't expect it to be so crowded. You wouldn't expect the entire theater to be filled on a Monday evening but it was. Even after 15 minutes into the movie, crowds of people were still coming in looking for seats. It felt as if it were an opening weekend but it must have been everybody thinking the same about trying to avoid the weekend rush.

Overall, I'd say that this Super Hero flick is a must see for Marvel comic book fans. I'm not going to add any spoilers here but this movie is jam packed with fist pumping action and has a nice touch of comedy that will make you laugh out loud in some scenes. I can't wait for the sequel!

iPro Lens System

Item: iPro Lens System (image source)

A buddy of mine had made a suggestion to look into a lens for the iPhone. I actually had no idea that such a contraption existed. I did a quick search and was amazed to see how many different styles & manufacturers there were. These kits range from the simple wide angle and fish eye lenses as shown above by iPro all the way to full on DSLR lens kits. To be honest, I think the DSLR kits are a bit too over exaggerated for an iPhone but the concept is pretty cool. Although you won't see me waste money on a 50mm lens for my iPhone, I might pick up the iPro lens kit or something similar to add some flamboyance to my iPhone snap shots!

Itch reliever: Mini Hamburger

Another buddy of mine thought it would be really cool to show off this Japanese mini hamburger kit. So here you have it - edible combo #1 in a box. To my surprise, it even comes with soda! Now only if you could super size this tiny bite size meal..

Sennheiser HD 800 headphones

Item: Sennheiser HD 800 headphones (image source)

I'm not really in the market for another set of headphones but I Googled "audiophile headphones" and came across this - Sennheiser HD 800 headphones. At first glance, these look just like a normal set of headphones. Then I looked at the price tag and thought to myself, these cannot be a normal set of headphones. But then again, I'm not a true audiophile so I couldn't really tell you the difference between these and a set of Pioneer Pro DJ headphones. I wonder if these would sound proper when listening to your favorite Dubstep jams. Somebody buy a set and let me know!

First, I would like to give thanks to the person that shot this video and for posting it on YouTube! Next, I would like to give thanks to Skrillex for putting out some of the greatest Dubstep beats I have ever heard. I would also like to add that this video was shot with an iPhone 4s. Not too shabby. My favorite track on this set is at the 21:26 mark; Avicii - Levels (Skrillex Remix)

Honda Ruckus

Item: Honda Ruckus (image source)

I've always wanted to own some sort of motorcycle but I can't see myself riding a full sized sport bike. The first reason being.. well, I'm a small person so no matter what size bike I'm on, it would look as if a child were riding it. The second and more serious reason would be that sport bikes are fast, and speed kills. Don't get me wrong.  I'm not saying that riding motorcycles will kill you, but given the fact about how fast motorcycles can go and mixing that with my curiosity for speed, I think that's a disaster waiting to happen.

So why not simmer down with a Honda Ruckus! I have several friends that own a Honda Ruckus and you hear nothing but good times to be had when cruising on one of these. Part of that reason being is because they have modded them with bigger motors and other performance parts that allow for more horsepower and faster speeds. Sure, I mentioned earlier that speed can be dangerous, but the top speed on even a highly modded Ruckus is nowhere near the speed of your average sport bike. I'm sure I'd have a nice adrenaline rush riding one of these!

Itch reliever: Guild Wars 2

Ok, so this may very well turn into an itch, but I've heard great things about this game from beta testers. Best part about it, PVP at level 1. Oh, and no monthly subscription fee so you can play at your own pace and not have to worry about the grind. This might have to hold me over until another great FPS comes out... once it is released, of course.

CDI 3/8-Inch Digital Torque Wrench

Item: CDI 3/8-Inch  Digital Torque Wrench (image source)

A really handy tool to have in one's arsenal is a torque wrench. It has a great use for a variety of different applications ranging from automotive to doing fixer uppers around the house. When browsing through a selection of wrenches, I came across this one - a CDI 3/8-Inch  Digital Torque Wrench. What appealed to me the most was the fact that this is digital. With that being said, it displays real time torque values which you won't get from a standard torque wrench. There is one thing I wonder about this though. It plays an audible sound when the desired torque setting is reached, but does it have that "click" to it as well? Either way, I still wouldn't mind having one of these mounted nicely in my hatchback ready to go into action at a moments notice!

Itch reliever:  Tragic loss of Junior Seau

For NFL fans all around the world, today is a sad day as we mourn the loss of a legendary linebacker, Junior Seau, in an apparent suicide. The news of this tragedy comes as a shock to Junior's family as they cannot make any sense of this. My heart goes out to his family and friends - he will truly be missed.

Samsung 55" Class LED 8000 Series Smart TV

Item: Samsung 55" Class LED 8000 Series Smart TV (image source)

Not even 6 months ago, I made a purchase on a 40" Samsung LED Smart TV. It was an upgrade from a 37" Vizio. Now, less than a year later, I think I'm ready for an upgrade. Not because I'm having issues or I no longer like the picture quality but because I just moved and my current living area is much larger than before. What once looked like a nice size tv now looks a bit out of place surrounded by so much empty wall space. This Samsung 55" Class LED 8000 Series Smart TV will fill up that empty space nicely! This tv would make great for those PPV fighting events or Sunday Night Football once the season starts up again. You know what would make this even better? Having two of these.. one for the living room and the other for the bedroom!

Itch reliever: Cat Breading

No. This site doesn't condone serving up your feline as a main dish for a romantic dinner for two, but it does make for a nice chuckle to spark up some conversation if you were on a date (if your date likes cats, of course). There is even a Breaded Cats app for iPhones.. who would have thought?

Celestron AstroMaster 114 EQ-C Telescope

Item: Celestron AstroMaster 114 EQ-C Telescope (image source)

I always ask myself this simple question, "..are we alone in this universe?" What better way to find out than to view those starry nights with one of these - a Celestron AstroMaster 114 EQ-C Telescope. Okay, so maybe you won't be able to find E.T. and Alf hanging out together light years away, but you will be able to view Saturn's rings and Jupiter's moons. Could you imagine what our moon would look like when viewed using this telescope? This cool optical instrument would be great to bring along on camping trips and wouldn't take up a lot of cargo space. I think this telescope would bring out the star gazer in all of us!

Itch reliever: Hubble Telescope Gallery

If you want to see some fascinating images of our solar system, then visit the link above. Here, you can view the cosmic heavens through Hubble's perspective to have a better appreciation of our universe and all of it's mysteries. Travel back through time and enjoy the wonders of intergalactic space!

Porter-Cable 7424XP polisher

Item: Porter-Cable 7424XP polisher (image source)

My car is way over due for some TLC and could use a nice make over. With the winter and rainy season gone, I have no more excuses for neglecting my car's appearance. I can't remember the last time it had a really good waxing but I do remember that the chore was done by hand. Oh, how nice it would be to perform the next waxing with one of these - a Porter-Cable 7424XP polisher! This polisher has a lot of great reviews and plenty of them state that this machine is easy to operate which is a plus for me when researching products. And on another positive note, when compared to other buffing products on the market, Porter-Cable is very affordable and can make the showroom shine of almost any car come alive when handled and used with care.

Itch reliever:  iPhone app store

I can always depend on iPhone games & apps to relieve my craving to window shop. It also blows my mind to see how far technology has come since my very first cellular phone. I remember my first cell phone being an early Nokia phone and when it came to games, Snake was the only game to play to pass the time away. Go ahead and laugh it up because I certainly am, but now do you see where I'm coming from? Now, I just can't wait to see what the next generation smart-phone will bring to the table but I can almost guarantee that holographic technology is right around the corner.

AeroForce Interceptor 52mm Gauge

Item: AeroForce Interceptor 52mm Gauge (image source)

When it comes to modifying cars, you want to make sure to monitor parameters specific to your upgrades to ensure you get the best performance while maintaining safe driving conditions. Even if your car isn't modified, having a gauge like the AeroForce Interceptor can have it's advantages. With a list of over 100 parameters, The AeroForce Interceptor gauge is capable of displaying real-time data which keeps the driver better connected with his or her car.

There are many different kinds gauges on the market, but I prefer this type of gauge for one simple reason - it plugs directly into your OBDII port. Just plug and play with no wire splicing or vacuum tube tapping required.

I currently own an MSD DashHawk which is very similar to the Interceptor as far as being plug and play via ODBII port and displaying multiple parameters at once and such, but the LCD screen doesn't withstand the Southern California heat too well and the unit is rectangular in shape. I think the Interceptor is more aesthetic-looking and has more of that "racer" feel to it. I will be listing my DashHawk on the classifieds soon and you can bet that I will be replacing it with this gauge!

Itch reliever: ISS Facts and Figures

Anything that touches on the subject of space or the cosmos always intrigues me. One of the most fascinating things to view in the night sky is the International Space Station. Even though it looks like any other satellite orbiting the earth, I find it astonishing to know that it has been continually occupied with humans for over 10 years!

Logitech 920-000914 Illuminated Keyboard

Item: Logitech 920-000914 Illuminated Keyboard (image source)

Being the avid pc gamer I am, I tend to wear out my keyboards pretty often. I don't wear them out to the point that they are unusable, but the keys themselves go through some intense wear & tear; primarily the A, S, D, W, and X keys due to the fact that I love playing FPS games (First Person Shooters). I figure that my next keyboard should be something that can take the abuse of random rage mashing when you find out the person you got the jump on ends up killing you first because their ping is so high they lag out. I think the Logitech 920-000914 Illuminated Keyboard can take the punishment and beating because I currently own a similar Logitech model but the only difference is that it does not illuminate. With this keyboard, I will never have to worry about worn keys again and because my current keyboard is nearly identical, I will already be accustomed to the feel and layout of the keys. Also, if you search for this item on Newegg, you will see that is has a rating of 5 eggs with over 600 reviews. With such an abundant number of high ratings, you can't go wrong with this product!

Itch reliever: Battlefield 3

I wasn't much of a Battlefield player early on when it first launched, but now it is the only FPS game I enjoy. I have been around the block and back and started off playing the likes of Tom Clancy's Raven Shield, Counter Strike, and Modern Warfare - all of which I have no interest in anymore. One of the key elements of Battlefield 3 that makes it stand out from the other shooter games is that the environment around you can come crashing down on you. Having the ability to cause destruction to your surroundings makes it so much more life-like. Another great aspect of this game is that there are numerous vehicles you can control and go to war with. Again, another key element which makes Battlefield 3 my number one choice for first person shooters.

Fossil Mens Machine Chronograph

Item: Fossil Mens Machine Chronograph (image source)

It has been a very long time since I last wore a watch, but a friend of mine recently received one as a gift and it's looks are impressive. This brings me to my latest itch - the Fossil Mens Machine Chronograph watch. It is very stylish and sleek. It has a low profile and would match just about anything since black on black matches any and all attire. It also has some really nice blue accents which are subtle in design but gives it some added "pop".

In looking at a few websites where this watch can be purchased, I am not seeing any mention of what type of glass it uses. I would really like to know if it has any sort of scratch resistant glass or better yet.. gorilla glass. For those of you who do not know what gorilla glass is, check out the itch reliever!

Itch reliever: Corning Gorilla Glass

Gorilla glass is a marvelous invention. It is glass that has been chemically strengthened and engineered specifically to be thin and damage-resistant. During it's manufacturing process, the glass is hardened by ion exchange which involves placing it in molten potassium salt where large potassium ions replace smaller sodium ions. The glass is then pressed and cooled which produces  a layer of compressive stress on the surface of the glass. Gorilla glass is widely used in smart phones and tablets and is named for a gorilla’s attributes of toughness and beauty.

The JackRack

Item: The JackRack (image source)

I really enjoy watching MMA sporting events. It's very exciting and entertaining and when amongst friends, MMA is a topic we love to have conversation about. Recently while watching a past event that was being broadcasted on Spike Television, there was a commercial that really sparked my attention. It was a commercial that was endorsed by Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell - the former UFC LHW champion. In this commercial, Chuck was advertising a product called The JackRack. The JackRack is a piece of fitness equipment that can be used at home to exercise and work out with that targets just about every muscle group. The best part about this home gym I really admire is the fact that it can be stored away under your bed once your workout is complete. The transitions from one position to another also looks like it can be done with ease which makes it very user friendly.

Sure, most of the videos on their website show professionals that are really ripped and are in great shape. I wouldn't expect to have chiseled muscles after daily 15-minute workouts, but I would expect to have nice, defined, and toned muscles. I find The JackRack to be very appealing and I love the fact that it comes with a 30-day money back guarantee.

Art can be described as anything that one can imagine. Klaus Pichler is a photographer and has recently showcased a project called One Third. In this portfolio, Klaus portrays decomposing foods as works of art. These pictures are very stunning and a lot can be said about the content that is articulated in the photographs.

Burton Blunt Snowboard 2012

Item: Burton Blunt Snowboard 2012 (image source)

With the current winter and snow season coming to an end, prices on snowboards & winter apparel will be dropping so merchandisers can make room for next season's inventory. My current set up is still in great condition, but with the dramatic price reductions, the temptation is running wild! The one board that really catches my eye is the Burton Blunt 2012 snowboard. It's a free-style board and features the V-Rocker technology which allows for a really loose and catch free ride. I can already picture my Flow bindings perfectly mounted on this board. Now, I just need to resist the "add to cart" button that has been daunting me!

Itch reliever:  Longboarding Freeride

As you put away your snowboard and gear, keep the free riding spirit alive and go longboarding. This pastime is a lot like snowboarding and definitely has that "living on the edge" feel if you find yourself cruising down a steep and twisting road. Longboarding is also a great way to keep yourself in shape. I recently sold my longboard so don't be surprised if you see a post describing my urge to buy a new one!

Minecraft Legos

Item: Minecraft Legos (image source)

All you Lego & Minecraft fanatics out there.. do not go to your local toy store just yet. The new Minecraft Lego sets are in production but are not expected to hit the shelves until summer 2012. I still remember the feeling of excitement when just the idea of creating Minecraft Legos was unwinding. Once the official announcement was made, I knew it wouldn't be long until one could create their very own Minecraft micoworld outside of the virtual world.

My main reason for all of this joyfulness is that I get to share this experience with my son who eats, sleeps, and [insert expletive here] Legos! And when it comes to Minecraft, the boy knows more about it than his old man. I would also like to add that when spending time with my son playing Legos or Minecraft, I consider it bonding time as it is something we truly enjoy doing together.. good times for sure. Oh, and one more thing - can we say future architect in the making?

This will be a definite purchase come summertime - no doubt about it!

Ok, so this doesn't really act as an itch reliever. However, I would like to share how the idea started. The makers of Lego simply asked the question, "would you buy Minecraft themed Legos?" If this page received 10,000 supporters, it would go into the review stage. In just 48 hours, the 10k milestone mark was met and within a few months, it was announced that Minecraft Legos passed the review stage and went on to the development stage. How awesome is that!

EdgeStar Deluxe Mini Kegerator

Item: EdgeStar Deluxe Mini Kegerator (image source)

Man Cave
noun
a space in the home that is primarily a male sanctuary, designed and furnished to accommodate the man's recreational activities.

Now that we have defined what a Man Cave is, one's Man Cave would not be complete without a kegerator. There are many kinds of kegerators that come in a variety of shapes and sizes. There are even mini kegerators - like the EdgeStar Deluxe Mini Kegerator. These are meant to be portable and would look great on the countertop. Heck, this would also nicely compliment a Keurig Special Edition coffee maker for all you java fans out there. Beer is best served cold, so pull out those frosty mugs and serve yourself a refreshing and chilled beverage... Cheers!

Itch reliever: Six Flags Magic Mountain

It has been so long since I have last visited Six Flags Magic Mountain. At the time, "X" was the newest roller coaster and it was down for maintenance the entire day. Even though that thrill ride was out of commission, my friends and I still had a blast. I can't wait for another adrenaline pumping adventure. Bring on the excitement!

GoPro HD Hero 2

Item: GoPro HD Hero 2 (image source)

For all you outdoor and athletic go-doers, why not capture some intense moments with this cool gadget - the GoPro HD Hero 2. This video camera shoots full 1080p video and has the ability to take 11 megapixel photos. The last time I was at the slopes at Bear Mountain, I saw so many of these amazing cameras and I'm not going to lie, I was envious. There are countless uses for this and one truly astonishing feature really catches my attention.. it can be used underwater! If you go to their official website and check out the GoPro Network for pictures and video footage, it will blow you away at how crisp the pictures are and how stunning the videos turn out. I'm totally sold on this; do want!

One of the most visual and breath-taking phenomenon one could ever witness in person - the Northern Lights, also known as Aurora borealis. It always amazes me when I see pictures or videos of this natural wonder and I always wish I could be the one behind the camera taking snap shots or keepsake video!

Ray Ban Highstreet Sunglasses RB 4057

Item: Ray Ban Highstreet Sunglasses RB 4057 (image source)

I definitely could use a nice new pair of polarized sunglasses. My current pair of Black Fly sunglasses tend to leave a mark on the bridge of my nose when worn for an extended amount of time. This used to be a back-up pair to another set of Black Fly's but those had a horrible death when they were accidentally stepped on. I know Ray Ban makes some very nice quality products and I would love to own a pair of Ray Ban Highstreet Sunglasses. Looks like I'll be moseying on into my local Sunglasses Hut soon to see if these are in stock and also to see how these fit my head. The only drawback to window shopping for articles of clothing or accessories on-line is that you never know how it look on you. I wish that for all sites selling sunglasses, they also include pictures of the shades on a mannequin head.

Itch reliever: Nürburgring

I often ask myself what a great experience it would be to let it all go on the Nürburgring. For those of you that do not know what the Nürburgring is, it is a well known and popular race track that is located in the village of Nürburg, Germany. This track is visited by race fanatics from all over the world and has an elevation gap of 1,000 feet separating it's highest and lowest points. But let me lay warning about this track; If you have an accident on this course and damage the Armco barriers, you are liable for the damages done. Be safe and happy racing!

Weber Genesis S-310 Liquid Propane Grill

Item: Weber Genesis S-310 Liquid Propane Grill (image source)

I can already taste it.. Top Sirlion steak and carne asada being grilled to perfection while it's pleasant aroma is released from a Weber Genesis S-310 Liquid Propane Grill and mixes in with the summer's breeze. I don't really cook and I have never really barbecued before but I wouldn't mind putting on a BBQ hat and apron while serving it up behind this beauty with it's grill full of choice cuts and hot 'n spicy buffalo wings. Also, when it comes to barbecue grills, Weber is known for making top-notch products which are very durable and at the same time, have an elegant and simplistic design. This particular model is stainless steel but there are black, green, and copper versions available as well.

Itch reliever: Kennedy's Karne

Besides the great weather and sunny beaches, another great reason for living in SoCal would be Kennedy's Karne. They are located in Escondido and this makes for great conversation after talking about such an awesome barbecue grill. You haven't been to a real Backyard BBQ until you were served with some of the greatest carne asada in Southern California - carne asada from Kennedy's!

Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM Lens

Item: Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM Lens (image source)

For those of you living in the SoCal area, May 19-20 marks the day the USAF Thunderbirds will be flying high at March Air Force Base. If you are an Air Show fan like myself, this will be a show you don't want to miss. Besides packing your bags with sunscreen lotion, ear plugs, and sunglasses, wouldn't it be nice to also pack your bag with this incredible piece of equipment?! I currently own a 18-55mm lens which is your basic camera lens and also a 50mm fixed lens which is great for portrait shots. But if you really wanted to take mind blowing pictures of objects far off in the distance, this telephoto lens is just for you. What a perfect opportunity it would be to showcase your best shots of the Thunderbirds using a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM Lens!

Itch reliever: USAF Thunderbirds

Like I mentioned before, I love going to Air Shows. My father was in the US Air Force and as a child, he always took me to Air Shows. Even to this day, we go to at least 2-3 events each year. To make these occasions even more special, I have my own son to take along with us so he too can enjoy the spectacular site of fast flying and gravity defying jets and airplanes.

AMD FX-8150 Zambezi 8-core CPU

Item: AMD FX-8150 Zambezi 8-core CPU (image source)

I currently have a smooth and stable running PC sporting an Intel i5 2400 processor. I also tend to build a new PC every 12-18 months. I've gone back and forth between AMD & Intel and I don't really have a preference between the two. When it comes time to upgrade, I will be leaning towards AMD and I already have my sights set on the AMD FX-8150 Zambezi processor. Will I really ever benefit from the 8 cores that this power house processor provides? Probably not as I primarily use PC's for gaming and generally more cores means better multitasking performance. But for the price to performance ratio, I think this processor seals the deal!

Itch reliever: Mega Millions

It's a known fact - we all love money! Can you image if you had won the last Mega Million jackpot; or any jackpot over a million?! It would be a dream come true to be a Mega Millions winner and although I rarely purchase tickets on my own, I won't mind pitching in and betting against the odds every now and then.

Adidas Running Supernova Riot 3m

Item: Adidas Running Supernova Riot 3m (image source)

So I keep telling myself that I need to get back into shape. Last year I bought a really nice hybrid bike in hopes of getting my cardio back. That same bike currently sits in a corner all by it's lonesome with two flat tires while collecting dust. There are 2 reasons that. The first reason is that there are a lot of hills with steep inclines where I live and I am much too out of shape to tackle those slopes in my current condition. The second reason is that I don't want to end up in the hospital due to some reckless driver not paying attention along these steep roads.

The next best alternative to biking.. Running! The Adidas Running Supernova Riot 3m have some pretty stellar reviews. From what I've read, they are comfortable shoes to run in and they are very durable so they should last a long time. I've also been a fan of Adidas shoes and I think these are stylish looking. With summer just around the corner, I might have to pick up a pair of these soon.

Itch reliever: Guinness Draught

I love drinking Guinness beer but I have never heard of mixing beer with desserts until I stumbled across Guinness Storehouse where they showcase Guinness Chocolate Mousse. This is something I gotta try!

Forge blow off valve

Item: Forge blow off valve (image source)

For all those import car enthusiasts and race fans - especially those that love boost, you will recognize this item to be a blow off valve. To simplify what a blow off valve is, it is used on turbo charged engines to release pressure caused by compression surges which extends the longevity of the engine and the turbo. I've been in the market for one of these but I haven't quite made up my mind on which brand to go for. There are many brands to choose from but I think I have my heart set on the Forge blow off valve; this one being a recirculating BOV.

Do I really need one? No - because my car already comes equipped with a stock blow off valve which should hold up to 16 PSI safely. But, I wouldn't mind having one of these to add to the "BLING" factor under the hood. It would also compliment some of the other go-fast mods I already have installed.

Itch reliever: Taekwondo Tidbit

My son recently joined a class for Taekwondo. So far, it has been a great experience. Not only does it teach self discipline and self defense, but it builds one's self esteem and makes him or her feel better about them self. I would highly recommend any form of mixed martial arts to people of all ages as it teaches you to protect yourself in times of danger or conflict and it is also an outlet to meet new people and make new friends.

Apple iPad 3

Item: Apple iPad 3 (image source)

One of my most recent purchases was an iPhone 4s. Sorry, I couldn't hold back the temptation on making this purchase. Prior to this phone was a Samsung Galaxy S and I must say that I prefer iOS 5 over Android. The overall robust feeling of the phone and the smoothness of the OS makes me say this was a smart buy.

What else could anyone want with such a great smart-phone you ask? A larger screen.. which leads me to the Apple iPad 3. I have friends who have the iPad 2 and I'm getting mixed results. Some love it so much, they do not intend on upgrading to the iPad 3. Others have sold theirs stating the iPad 2 lacks certain features when it comes to being a tablet. I, for one, would love to have one of these!

I would love to hear more comments on this product from anyone who has owned one or is in the market for buying one.

I got my money on Jones but Evans is no slouch. After all, Evans used to reign as Champion and would love to have the title back! I think this is a great match-up for MMA fight fans!
Ever have that itch to buy something online but know you really shouldn't? Well, you're not alone. I constantly find myself window shopping for items I really want but do not intend to buy because I might end up having buyer's remorse. To overcome the temptation & relieve the itch, I like to surf the web for interesting topics to keep me entertained.

For each day I decide to “window surf” , I will post an item I window shopped for – then link to what site I visited after the desire to buy was gone.

If any of you readers happen to own or have owned any of my "window shopping" items, I would love to hear your comments on it - whether you like it or not, best place to buy, etc.
